Franklin County Engineer’s Office Map
County Engineers in Ohio create and maintain maps as required by the Ohio Revised Code. These maps document public roads, bridges, drainage systems, and property boundaries under ORC §§ 5713.09 and 4504.03, supporting accurate records and infrastructure planning. Franklin County maps are available for free at any FCEO office location. To request a map, please contact our office.

Historical Maps
Historical maps of Franklin County dating back to 1842, as well as township maps, road record books, subdivision plats, private surveys, county road construction plans, and county road right-of-way plans are housed in the Records Management Office of the Surveying Department. Copies of these records and others are available to the public free of charge or for a nominal fee. Most can be obtained in both hardcopy and digital format.
